Can you support Transform's work?Transform remains the only organisation in the UK dedicated to developing and promoting effective alternatives to the dangerous failings of current drug policy. As an independent charitable organisation, Transform receives no government funding and relies solely on funding from charitable trusts and donations from individuals to maintain and develop the organisation and our unique and vital programme of work. Details of our current and previous funders are located here. Transform is actively seeking funding for its core organisational costs, as well as a range of projects. If you would like more information, are able to help, or have ideas or suggestions, please contact the Transform office on: Danny Kushlick (Transform Director) Ways to donate to Transform (click for more information):

4. LegacyLegacies are special gifts from one generation to another. They help Transform Drug Policy Foundation continue developing and promoting effective alternatives to the dangerous failings of current drug policy. Leaving a legacy is an opportunity to extend a lifetime of support. By remembering Transform’s work in your Will you are providing the means to help build a brighter life for future generations. Charitable bequests are free of Inheritance Tax (IHT). A common way of remembering a favourite charity in one's Will is to leave the proportion of one’s estate above the Inheritance Tax threshold to charity and thereby avoid paying any IHT. For further details and answers on legacies click here for a pdf document. We can also accept ‘Give as You Earn’ payroll donations. These are taken from your gross salary before it is taxed, therefore you don't pay any tax on your donation. Visit your payroll office to pick up a donor instruction form and visit the Charities Aid Foundation website's Give as Tou Earn page (here) for more information. You will need our registration number: 000476760 and full name: Transform Drug Policy Foundation. Tax benefits of charitable donationsAs an extra incentive Transform can claim 28 pence tax refund on every pound given as an individual donation made through the Inland Revenue's Gift Aid scheme (this only applies to UK taxpayers). If you are in the 40% income tax bracket you can also claim a 10% tax refund on the value of your donation. For example if you donate £500 (and have a taxable income above £29,400) Transform receive a total of £641 and you receive a tax rebate of £50. Obviously all donations, large or small, are very welcome.
